Sandy Springs Reads 2016 – Listing of Events

Sandy Springs Reads 2016

Sandy Springs’ fifth annual “One Book, One City” event promotes literacy and builds a sense of community by engaging our citizens in discussions and activities around a common book. This year we are celebrating during the month of October, with our featured book: “The Cellist of Sarajevo”. Visit the Sandy Springs Library where there will be creative displays about Bosnian culture and history, cellists and cellos, and Bosnian biographies and fiction titles. Our elementary and middle schools will feature themed Sandy Springs Reads displays during the month as well. Plan to read our featured book(s) and join in the discussion! The following events are all open to the public but some require advance registration.
