Flowers For The CityLarge concrete containers have been filled to the brim with blooming flowers in summer and are maintained throughout the year by the Sandy Springs Fire Department. These vessels, donated to the City, are displayed along Roswell Road and include donors' Dedication Plaques.
Are you interested in sponsoring a Planter?Reading GardenAn ongoing work for ArtSS has been the construction and maintenance of a reading garden at the Sandy Springs Public Library. This property, adjacent to and donated to the Library by the Sandy Springs Woman's Club, had not been developed until last year. Fulton County very generously cleared the overgrown property and installed watering capability. New paths, plantings, seating areas, a peace pole and a classical labyrinth have been completed and the Reading Garden was formally dedicated on April 18, 2010.
